San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe refuses to answer ACLU questions regarding June election. Why?

By Michael G. Stogner & Sarah Navratil

San Mateo County residents are just starting to realize that they are responsible for the behavior of the Sheriff and the District Attorney’s Office. Steve Wagstaffe so far is running unopposed in the June 5, 2018 election. That in itself should cause the residents to ask Why? Out of all the employees in the DA’s Office there is not one who believes he/she could do a better job than Steve Wagstaffe. Not one person willing to offer the residents a choice for one of the most important and powerful elected offices in San Mateo County.

Just look at the Former Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez criminal case for Abuse of Authority, Prosecutorial Misconduct.

The Write In candidate time period ends May 22, 2018

We recommend voters vote on June 5, 2018, So far there are 2 Write In candidates one for Sheriff and one for Supervisor District 2. Lets see if some brave person will be a Write In candidate for District Attorney.
