This is exactly why I say Joaquin Jimenez should run for District 3 Supervisor of San Mateo County in the next election.

Of course the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies would pull HMB Councilman Joaquin Jimenez over on his bicycle on Main Street. It’s more than racial profiling, It’s sending him a message, you might be an Elected Official in San Mateo but I am in charge of the Law Enforcement in your Hometown 24/7 so get used to it.

Bolanos said the deputy recognized Jimenez as a city councilman, Of Course he recognized him.

San Mateo County Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos knows that Joaquin is a threat to him, and is sending a message.

Every reasonable person in San Mateo County knows that Sheriff Bolanos is a Liar.

2007 Operation Dollhouse, He lied.

2010 Whistleblower complaint Gross Misconduct at SMCSO Porn and Violent Rape Video shared among top 45 Male employees. Results New Servers at the County.

2015 Pumpkin Festival SMCSO Gang Task Force assaulted Joaquin and threaten his career as a Juvenile Probation Officer with SMC. They followed through he no longer has that career.

He and other family members were stopped and photographed by Sheriff’s deputies during the 2015 Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival. At the time, then-Undersheriff Bolanos said the men were followed because some wore T-shirts that memorialized a gang member and that they were photographed because of what he said was a heated exchange between Jimenez and a security guard.

This is another example of Carlos Bolanos Lying, It was not a Security Guard, It was a Gang Task Force Sheriff Deputy.

2015 Half Moon Bay Resident Rachel A. Quintana arrested and Videoed by San Mateo County Sheriff Sergeant Michael Otte, He Otte Lied under Oath in Judge Lisa Novak’s courtroom January 5, 2017. This arrested occurred right after she went to the Sheriff Sub Station to report harassment of her two brothers by Deputies. Judge Novak found Otte committed PERJURY Sheriff Bolanos gave him a retirement party.

2018 Chinedu V. Okobi Homicide by Six SMCSO, Sheriff Bolanos omitted the sixth Employee Involved, CSO Joseph Gonzales, and lied in his Press Release about Chinedu running in and out of traffic and Immediately assaulting Deputy Wang when he exited his patrol vehicle.

2020 Half Moon Bay Homicide of Sandra L. Harmon by SMCSO Employees. Sheriff Bolanos Lied about the Shootout, Omitted the fact she was shot in the back three times, shot at while hands were above her head unarmed, and the moving of three spent shell casings, and two bullet holes located where there should be NONE. He provided the STORY of Body Worn Camera not being turned on and has refused to provide the Axon Log Records that would prove his statement to be true or false.

2021 Kaylan Freeman arrest and charged Rape of Girls, Sheriff Bolanos Lied in Press Release about when they first became aware of him. The Sheriff Office Served him a subpoena at the exact house in 2014 for the same type of crime.

“Racial profiling is happening,” Jimenez said. “Even when we ride our bicycles.”

“This is exactly what I’m talking about,” Jimenez said. “When people ask about coming forward, well, I’m coming forward. This is what happened to me. I was riding a bicycle like everyone does on Main Street. But I’m the one getting pulled over.”

Half Moon Bay City Manager Bob Nesbitt has had over a year to put in the Sheriff Officers Complaint Line that he claims he is so interested in providing to the residents. Bob Nesbitt is the Last Person on earth I would recommend to call with that type of complaint.

Carlos G. Bolanos is not only the Sheriff of San Mateo County he is also the Police Chief of Half Moon Bay.
