Corruption and San Mateo County are one in the same, that is how it has always been, It’s no secret.
Recently the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activity League was in the News. There was a Joint Criminal Investigation involving Embezzlement and Money Laundering. San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe recused his office and himself from that investigation because he was a Board Member of the SAL.
What was so funny is that Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos and Captain Christina Corpus thought it would be appropriate for them to Investigate themselves. Captain Christina Corpus is also a Board Member of the Service Activities League.

2016 Supervisor Adrienne Tissier was one of 3 who appointed Carlos Bolanos to Sheriff.
David Canepa President of the Board of Supervisors, Supports this Conflict of Interest.
David Canepa President of the Board of Supervisors has not asked Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos why he thought it was a Good Idea to Investigate his own Office.
It’s up to the VOTERS and Residents of District 5, If you know this is a Conflict of Interest, and the guy you elected is ignoring it, Ask him Why?
San Mateo County Government has never asked Candidate for Re-Election to Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos, Why did you go INSIDE 3474 Eldon Street, Las Vegas, Nevada on April 21, 2007 where you were caught & detained by LVMPD. To this day NONE of the Supervisors of San Mateo County have ever asked that simple question. Why? Answer is simple, Corruption
It was either to have sex with women and possible a minor who didn’t speak english, or it was a Drug Drop of 3,500 Ecstasy Tablets for $25,000 Cash, either way just being there was enough to be terminated.
