Large Donation of PPE

Updated: 7d

The Wine Country Marines are excited to announce a partnership with the San Mateo County Department of Emergency Management. Specifically, the County DEM has graciously donated thru the Wine Country Marines a very large supply of excess inventory of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that they were provided by FEMA, to be shared with the community at large.

Wine Country Marines will distribute these to organizations in need by appointment only. Date and time slots confirmed upon verification of organization/recipient.

This generous donation consists of surgical gowns that conform to YY/T0506.2-2016 industry standards, head to toe white isolation suits with anti-static properties, blue dental style isolation gowns, vented goggles, face shields also with anti-static properties, 1 gallon bottles of bleach, commercial mop buckets, and mop handles.

The isolation gowns are great for any organization or non-profit that serves at risk community members such as homeless, ill, or others such as patients receiving booster or vaccination shots or applying for benefits or services.

The surgical gowns are great for any organization or non-profit that performs medical services where bodily fluids are collected or exposed.

The goggles provide complete protection of the eye, and are vented to prevent fogging.

The mops, mop buckets and bleach require no explanation, but are shown in the photos below for reference.

If your organization would like some of these products to aid in your mission to serve the community, please RSVP at the following link:

San Mateo County President of the Board of Supervisors Don Horsley, David Canepa, Carole Groom, Warren Slocum are responsible for the Oversight of San Mateo County. They are not curious as to the name of the person at San Mateo County Department of Emergency Management who graciously donated thru the Wine Country Marines a very large supply of excess inventory of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that they were provided by FEMA, to be shared with the community at large.

It’s been 26 Days since ABC 7 Investigative Reporter Dan Noyes broke the story about the MORE than $10,000,000.00 of PPE left unprotected outside the San Mateo County Event Center. Note: January 13, 2022 @ 6:12 PM the story was on the air. That’s 12 minutes after James Brown FB post.

Who had the authority to give James Brown the PPE? At this moment 26 days later that person has not been identified by the Government. Why?

First lets look at the Department of Emergency Management, I did find it at the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. This is the same Sheriff’s Office that recently Investigated itself for the Sheriff’s Activities League Embezzlement and Money Laundering criminal Investigation with the A.G. Office.

SMC Sheriff Lt. John Kovach was in charge of the Homeland Security Division until he suddenly retired in January 2022. I’ve asked Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos what was his last day on the job. no response.

This might be a good time for the Board of Supervisors to put this back on the Agenda and invite Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos, Lt. John Kovach, Captain Christina Corpus, James Brown, and Mike Callagy to attend and answer the simple question, WHO gave James Brown the PPE on or before January 13, 2022.

Also for those who don’t know ret. Sheriff Lt. John Kovach and Sheriff Captain Christina Corpus are Husband and Wife.
