Update: San Mateo County News.com has confirmed the 85 year old Victim is Asian.
August 31, 2022 a Foster City Resident who happens to be 85 years old goes to his neighborhood Costco Store located at 1001 Metro Center Blvd, Foster City, CA 94404. Most people don’t think of a Costco Store Parking Lot as a Hunting Ground for criminals.
An 85 year old by himself would look like a pretty easy target. Elder Abuse. Hate Crime?
An 85 year old wearing a $30,000.00 Rolex would look like an Excellent TARGET/VICTIM.
The three young suspects first contacted him at Costco, they saw the ROLEX there.
They FOLLOWED him to his home. STALKING
They physically assaulted him placing him in a HEADLOCK. The Female ripped the ROLEX off of his wrist while he was in a HEADLOCK.
I don’t know very many 85 year olds that could have survived the Stress of that event.
The 85 year old VICTIM is Asian, the Crime should be investigated as a HATE crime to see if it qualifies.
