The Daly City Police Department had their own Instagram page on March 15, 2021 where the public could comment on it. I should say where some members of the public could comment.
The Daly City Police Department NEVER Investigated the Suspicious Death of Munir Edais as a Potential Homicide. As a matter of FACT they NEVER Investigated his death at all.
The reason I say that is the 911 call was made at 1:59 AM and 54 minutes later the case was closed. The wife said he hung himself, the Daly City Police Department said OK I guess that does it, Case Closed.
San Mateo County News.com would like to know WHO at Daly City Police Department Blocked Munir Edais’s 17 year old sister for posting on the Government’s Instagram Page because she thought her brother’s death deserved to be Investigated as a Potential Homicide. I agree with Sereen Edais so do 31,056 other decent and good Human Beings who signed the Petition.
“I got blocked on March 15, 2021, because I kept commenting #justiceformunir under their posts and I kept tagging our instagram page. Also, this happened when our instagram blew up and got a lot of attention, so many other people were spamming their comments as well. I have a photo of when I posted about it. I don’t know who blocked me, and they didn’t tell me why.”
The Daly City Police Department could have AVOIDED any unpleasant comments on their Instagram page by simply conducting a HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION of the Very Suspicious Death of Munir Edais a 32 year old Police Officer. Instead they chose CENSORSHIP/BLOCKING a Teenager.
Supervisor David Canepa is a Candidate for Congress.
The Edais family of Daly City, have asked Supervisor David Canepa to resign.
Here is just ONE reason why.
President of the Board of Supervisors David Canepa and former Mayor of Daly City, California never once communicated to the Edais family about the Very Suspicious Death of their loved one. This traumatized family who is simply searching for the honest answers into the cause of death of 32 year old Munir Edais a Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Officer who died sometime between January 19-21, 2020.
Since when has getting a second opinion a bad or negative thing.
Do Police Departments ever make mistakes? YES
Do Coroners ever make mistakes or get it wrong? YES
San Mateo Residents know or should know about Coroner Robert Foucralt and Organ Harvesting thanks to a very brave Picon Family. Nicholas Picon R.I.P. October 2006.
The Edais family reached out to David Canepa the newly appointed President of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors for help. He responded by giving his private cellphone number.
Here is what the sister has said about that interaction.
I only use Facebook to post information about my brother Munirs death. Right when I opened the app, I came across this video of an 11 year old girl speaking about her experience with the mayor abusing his powers. Long story short, she earned a black belt in Taekwondo, but couldn’t receive it because her mom voiced her opinion on the recall. The mayor uninvited her to the ceremony making tons of excuses why. This girl is only a few years younger than me, and inspired me to speak about my issue regarding David Canepa running for congress.
She was talking about the Successful Recall of Foster City Council member Herb Perez.
On January 19, 2021, my family and I reached out to supervisor David Canepa, at the time, in hopes of him helping us with our brothers death. My brother, Munir Edais was reported dead on January 21, 2020 by a supposed suicide. Trying to find some answers answers regarding Munirs death, we reached out to David Canepa. He sent me a private message saying to call him, and left us his phone number. We called him, and got the opposite reaction of what we expected. He was very rude and unsympathetic. He claimed Daly City police department had the best investigators and yelled at us saying “what are you guys doing!”He said we need to shut down our instagram page, and rest with the fact that Munir killed himself. But if DCPD had good investigators we wouldn’t be here begging him for help.
Our family has had many sleepless nights trying to think about which steps to take next. We had no time to mourn the death of our loved one because our main focus is putting away those who caused us this heart ache. As a resident of Daly City and San Mateo County, we deserve better elected officials. after all, we’re the ones voting them in.
Why would the President of SMC BOS tell a Family they need to shut down their Instagram page?
What does David Canepa know about the Very Suspicious Death of a Police Officer in his Daly City Apartment that I don’t know?
Here is what I know, according to an Audio Expert who has examined the 911 call placed at 1:59:10 AM on January 21, 2020. A second voice has been confirmed in close proximity to Eman.
What does Candidate for Congress David Canepa say about the SECOND VOICE on the 911 call?
Another thing for David Canepa to think about is that the Edais Family recently asked for Daly City Manager Shawnna Maltie to be FIRED or RESIGN. She announced her RETIREMENT.
Robert Foucrault why did you ignore the Family’s CPRA request?
On February 27, 2020, the Coroner published an autopsy report finding that Munir Edais had died of “suicide by hanging” and set his time of death was 2:41 a.m. on the morning of January 21.
Substantial material evidence casts doubt on both of those findings.
What is the EVIDENCE Munir Edais a 32 year old Police Officer, Father of two girls, Husband of less than 6 months, San Mateo County Resident all his life Hung Himself?
Robert Foucrault, why are you and David Silberman fighting so hard to keep your Work Product a Secret from the Parents of Munir Edais. Is that part of your job description?
Are you telling the 760,000 Residents of San Mateo County to trust your findings? Have you ever made a mistake, or changed your findings for ANY reason.
Robert, what were/are your thoughts about the Nanny Camera located in Bedroom #2 the same bedroom you say Munir Edais Hung Himself? Your Team never mentioned it, WHY?
Please sign and share Munir Edais R.I.P. story, for some reason the San Mateo County Media never reported this Suspicious Death of a Police Officer in Daly City, California. Let’s find out why?
Ask your friends and family members in Law Enforcement why they haven’t signed this Petition?
Ask all San Mateo County Employees why they haven’t signed this Petition?
Three Meetings to fit your schedule, 6PM, 7PM, and 8PM 40 minutes each
The family of Munir Edais a 32 year old Police Officer, Father of two daughters, and a Daly City Resident who died sometime between January 19-21, 2020 has asked Daly City Manager Shawanna Maltbie and the 5 council members to provide a Special Meeting by Zoom to Audit the Daly City Police Departments actions with the Daly City Police Department Death Investigations Policy. The response to the Family’s request was NO RESPONSE. Every Department should do an Audit without having to be asked. It’s the only way to access how you are really doing.

6PM ZOOM Meeting
Topic: San Mateo County News – Munir Edais DCPD Audit Time: May 31, 2022 06:00 PM US/Pacific
Why in the world would San Mateo County Coroner Robert Foucrault and San Mateo County Counsel Attorney David Silberman be Hell Bent on NOT PROVIDING the Reports from the Coroners Office to the PARENTS of 32 year old Munir Edais, a father of two girls, a Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Officer, a Daly City Resident, a San Mateo County Resident his entire life, who was in excellent health, who died sometime between January 19, 2020 and January 21, 2020 in his apartment in Daly City. That’s 28 months ago.
How much money has San Mateo County Tax Payers Investigated in Defending Coroner Robert Foucrault for his personal decision to not provide these documents to the parents. Why do the 5 Supervisors of San Mateo County think this is a good investment of the Taxpayers Money.
What is David Silberman’s interest in the case?
Why would San Mateo County Residents keep voting for this guy. I stopped after I learned about Robert Foucralt keeping Nicholas Picon’s Heart, and NOT informing his mother in 2006.
Wake up San Mateo County Voters
I suggest you WRITE-IN Mark DePaula for Coroner of San Mateo County 2022
He would provide the Edais Family with the Reports his first day in office.
San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa has been Fundraising and is a current Candidate for Congress. That is what he likes to do raise money and promote himself. He also was a Councilman and Mayor of Daly City, He also worked for Leland Yee, who we all know spent time in Prison. Over the years I have seen him many times ignoring the Families and Concerned Citizens of San Mateo County making simple requests of him as their Supervisor. Remember he is the one who took an OATH.
Very recently I became aware of the Suspicious Death of a Healthy 32 year old Father of two girls, a Daly City Resident, and a Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Officer named Munir Edais, who died sometime between January 19-21, 2020. As you can see that Suspicious Death occurred 28 MONTHS ago.
I have been requesting San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa to simply sign this Families Petition for a Special Meeting by the Daly City Elected Officials and the City Manager to AUDIT the actions of their Daly City Police Department on the morning of January 21, 2020. This Audit would simply compare the actions against the Daly City Police Policy.

Supervisor David Canepa has refused to sign this Petition. WHY?
This is just one reason I say NO WAY on Canepa for Congress.
