We teach our children the importance of Keeping Your Word or Keeping Your Promise.
Making San Mateo County Safer has been a project of mine for the last 22 years. I have found only one Elected Official (Politician) who shared that goal.
The question remains unanswered, Will Giselle Hale serve if she is elected in November, or will she refuse to be swore in?
Giselle Hale is the Mayor of Redwood City, To my knowledge she has done NOTHING to eliminate the Redwood City Police Departments TWO sets of Daily Activity Log Records.
“I like to get things done.” That is what Giselle Hale claims.
I personally would like to see her FIX the two sets of Books. That would go along way in Making San Mateo County Safer. San Mateo County Sheriff Deputy Colin Smith Arrested TWICE by RWCPD. San Mateo County Sheriff Sergeant Lou Aquino Arrested for DUI by RWCPD. There is also the RWCPD responding to the Domestic Violence call to San Mateo County Sheriff Lt. Kristina Bell’s home that never made it to either of RWCPD daily records.
Both of those arrests were hidden from the PUBLIC. That is a Very Bad Idea.
That is SOMETHING she could do right this minute, she is the MAYOR. I can’t think of a better example to demonstrate “I like to get things done.”
Now that she has officially ended her Campaign. Her name is still on the ballot and people will still vote for her. I think the average San Mateo County Resident would appreciate the stopping of the phone calls, yard signs, door knocking, canvassing asking for Donations, etc. How hard is it for a VOTER to Google Giselle Hale to see if they want to vote for her?
Giselle Hale might also consider resigning from Mayor of Redwood City, and that would give her even more quality time with her children and husband which is what she claims as her reason for ending her campaign.
Mark Melville has folded, he recently contacted San Mateo County News.com, to inform me that he will not be a candidate in the 2022 election. I wish him all the best, I remember when I first met him in Foster City, and I said the same thing I said to Sheriff Deputy Juan Pablo Lopez, when I first met him and he first announced he was going to run against Sheriff Greg Munks in 2014. I said “You are either very Brave or Very Naive.”
Now that that has been settled it makes room for another candidate and possibly more for the Election 2022. Candidates filing window is February 14, 2022-March 7, 2022.
At this moment there are 2 Candidates for Sheriff, both of them thought it would be great idea to Investigate the Sheriff Activities League (SAL) Embezzlement and Money Laundering Criminal Investigation. For a reasonable thinking person that would be a RED FLAG, non-starter, It would be known as a Conflict of Interest in most circles.
I look forward to see how things shake out. That leaves 7 months for the Residents to ask the questions they have for the Candidates, That is plenty of time.
San Mateo County Sheriff Office Captain Christina Corpus is one of the 2 current candidates for Sheriff in 2022.
She was employed with the Sheriff’s Office when I received the Gross Misconduct at the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office complaint, by a very brave and proud female deputy. A question for Christina Corpus, What did you or your husband SMCSO Lt. John Kovach do about it? Did you send this report to me? If not Why not?
The same question for Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos, He was UnderSheriff at the time. What actions did he take?
Just ask the Families of Errol Chang R.I.P., Yanira Seranno Garcia R.I.P., Chinedu V. Okobi R.I.P. San Mateo County’s George Floyd, and Sarah Gatliff the daughter of Sandra Lee Harmon R.I.P. Roger Allen R.I.P. All Homicides by SMC Law Enforcement.
Los Angeles County wants a judge to force Kobe Bryant’s widow to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to prove she suffered emotional distress from leaked photos of the helicopter crash that killed her husband, daughter and seven others.
Who supports this disgusting behavior, all FIVE San Mateo County Supervisors, and almost every other elected official in the County.
Supervisor President David Canepa
Supervisor Don Horsley
Supervisor Carlos Groom
Supervisor Warren Slocum
Supervisor Dave Pine
Why would San Mateo County Residents need a Citizens Oversight Committee? That is what the Supervisors are paid to do, SUPERVISE.
The residents of San Mateo County will remember the News that San Mateo County Sheriff Greg Munks and UnderSheriff Carlos G. Bolanos were Caught and Detained INSIDE a single family home with bars on all of the windows and doors in an FBI Sting, called Operation Dollhouse. Who said they were INSIDE, LVMPD Spokesman Bill Cassell, and LVMPD Vice Lt. Karen Hughes both said they were INSIDE.
Three days later on April 25, 2007 San Mateo County Sheriff Greg Munks held a Misinformation Event where he admitted the obvious that he was INSIDE but then Lied about UnderSheriff Carlos G. Bolanos was outside when the authorities arrived. Why would he lie about that?
Sheriff Munks also said: Neither he nor Bolanos intended to PAY FOR SEX.
Sheriff Greg Munks and UnderSheriff Carlos G. Bolanos have NEVER been Investigated or answered ANY questions about Why were they both INSIDE that Disgusting, Vulgar home on April 21, 2007.
Not one of the 5 San Mateo County Supervisors, thought it would be a good idea to find out why they both left the County at the same time for several days, and Why were they both Caught & Detained INSIDE? If they didn’t intend to PAY for SEX, were they there for another reason?
How long would it take for the San Mateo County Gang Task Force to get their hands on 3,5000 Ecstasy Tablets.
What would each Tablet be worth at retail or at a location where the customers would pay top dollar say $20 each = $70,000
Is it possible that Sheriff Munks and UnderSheriff Carlos G. Bolanos both experts in Drug Trafficking and Human Trafficking were INSIDE 3474 Eldon Street, Las Vegas Nevada, at 9:30 PM to sell 3,500 Ecstasy Tablets for $25,000 Cash?
It’s NEVER too late to Investigate, I’ve asked the Board of Supervisors to Investigate they Refused.
How many of the 7 Print Media aka Newspapers demanded an Investigation of Munk’s and Bolanos being INSIDE?
Every Candidate for Supervisor, Sheriff, and even the District Attorney’s Office should be in favor of a Full Investigation.
Nobody has ever asked, When did the 3,500 Ecstasy Tablets arrive at 3474 Eldon Street, Las Vegas, Nevada?
What caused the FBI to close a 2 year Sting Operation on a Saturday Night, when San Mateo County’s top two Law Enforcement Sheriffs were Caught?
Who is responsible for this mess? The Supervisors of San Mateo County of course. Also every City Manager and City Council who contracted with the Sheriff’s Office for Patrol Services.
It’s such a Simple Question, Why were you INSIDE? It should only be asked after they both are sworn in.
3474 Eldon St. Las Vegas Nevada, Operation Dollhouse
LVMPD Spokesman Bill said both Munks and Bolanos were INSIDE. That solves that.
If San Mateo County Sheriff Greg Munks, and UnderSheriff Carlos G. Bolanos would lie about this you can bet they would lie about anything. It’s been 14 years, they are not the only ones lying about it.
Since Carlos G. Bolanos Candidate for Re-Election of Sheriff 2022 refused to answer any of these questions four years ago they still apply today.
If you are a resident of San Mateo County and couldn’t care less about politics, but have been wondering what the Hell has happened to the Quality of Life in your residential neighborhoods and the over building and crowding of Office Buildings and don’t forget the GRIDLOCK, we used to call it traffic. It hasn’t been traffic for the last 15 years.

It’s time to blow the lid off the trash can of political cronyism and its most recent unseemly offspring, Senate Bill 9 and Senate Bill 10.
Most times in a household, everyone knows when the garbage can is full, but they wait for someone else to take it out — even when it stinks to high heaven. Let’s do this job together. Let’s delve through that refuse and see exactly who put it there and why it reeks.
Last year, San Mateans may recall, it wasn’t but a minute after Measure Y (the renewal of our city’s new building height limit measure) received certification of its win that San Francisco’s prolific housing bill author, state Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, attended a San Mateo-based “anti-Y decompression” meeting. The attendees and guest speakers, our own councilmembers Goethals, Lee and Bonilla, were told that no one should worry about the failed effort to kill off the citizen measure, insinuating that state efforts would pave the way to their desired outcome. “We are making progress,” Wiener assured them. “We honestly need more action at the state level.” Enter Senate bills 9 and 10.
Senate bills 9 and 10 are a developer’s nirvana. With no affordable housing required, or any funds from developers to go toward supporting infrastructure, coupled with the complete removal of any due process, and elimination of local zoning, residents will wake up to find buildings going up right next door to their homes with no rhyme or reason other than developer profit. By then, it will be too late (Did I mention that SB 10 also gives San Mateo’s City Council the power to override the will of the voters and dismiss Measure Y?). Go to unitedneighbors.net for the simple facts regarding these two bills, including a two-minute video of all that we have to lose. These bills have already passed in the Senate and the Assembly will be voting on them mid-August. The time to tell Assemblyman Mullin to vote no is now. Call him at (650) 349-2200.
So, how did we get here? Two words: political cronyism. In large part, gone are the days where your representatives actually represent you. Most are busy setting their sights on their next position, with their stepping stones on the backs of us, their constituency. Take a look around our region — it’s pretty clear who is doing work for the people and who isn’t. Even idealists landing in council seats or higher can quickly expect to feel the firm hand of the special interest folks on their shoulders, complete with promises of what they could be, if only. And if they do the bidding of their pals in high and low places, they’ll receive all the endorsements and funding they need to win their next campaign — if the voters just stay ignorant. And it doesn’t stop there. Commission seats in cities all around our region are targeted, too, as special interests line up their friendlies to fill those all-important decision-making seats, one by one. It’s simply their chess game, a Queen’s Gambit move, where you, the resident pawn, is sacrificed to gain control of the board.
As ever, politics is about money and power, but it has morphed into a Godzilla-like creature so hideously ugly, that we want to throw our hands up in the air and move to Mars. I have a better idea. Let’s send those who support bad bills like Senate bills 9 and 10 there instead. NASA recently announced it needs people for a simulated Mars habitat for a year. Some of the skills they’ll be taught could translate into being better representatives when they “return” to Earth. Sounds like a win to me.
Seriously, there is a way to retain our power as residents and taxpayers. Political climbers will need your vote. Pay attention to what they have done or failed to do — as with SB 9 and 10. Don’t be swayed by endorsements. Be vocal about your wants. Ask candidates hard questions — now and when they run for the next best thing. Make their answers and actions known. Your well-cast vote is still your superpower. There’s nothing scarier than an educated voter.
