Audio Expert “Confirmed another voice in close proximity with Eman Edais”
In other words the Audio Expert is saying there was at least one other person in the apartment with Eman Edais and can be heard on the 911 call at 1:59 AM where she claimed Munir Edais hung himself.
A reasonable person would want to know who was that person/s, what time did they get there etc?
I just have a couple of questions for Daly City Manager Shawnna Maltbie about her Police Departments Initial investigation into the Suspicious Death of 32 year old Munir Edais on January 21, 2020. At what date/time did her police officers obtain and listen to the 911 call that was placed to the San Mateo County 911 dispatch center at 1:59 AM.
What date/time did your police officers identify and interview the other person on the 911 call?
Who provided Eman Edais the wife with a copy of the 911 call?
Those are my questions for Shawnna Maltbie at this moment.
If you support a new Suspicious Death/Homicide Investigation please join the over 30,000 others who have signed the petition.
It’s been 28 days since I first heard the name Munir Edais. If you are a San Mateo County Resident I’m guessing you have never heard his name either. Why is that?
According to Daly City Police Officer Lorena Reyes #2135 (1st patrol officer on the scene) on January 21, 2020 a little after 2 AM Munir Edais a Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Officer Hung Himself in Bedroom #2 of his apartment in front of the Nanny Camera.
The Nanny Camera would have been the perfect witness/evidence to this “He Hung Himself Story.”
The Nanny Camera would have answered many of the nagging questions that the Edais Family still has to this very day 28 months later.
What time and date did the Daly City Police Department take the Nanny Camera from Munir Edais’ apartment as Evidence? When did the DCPD view the video from the Nanny Camera?
I have signed the petition because there was NO Investigation period, Let’s Fix That.
Have these to Candidates for Sheriff of San Mateo County bothered to sign the Petition to Audit the Daly City Police Deparments actions involving the Suspicious Death of a 32 year old Los Gatos Police Officer in his Daly City apartment 28 months ago January 21, 2020.
Shawnna Maltbie the City Manager of Daly City is responsible for the behavior of the Daly City Police Department. Munir Edais’ R.I.P. Father has asked Shawnna Maltbie for a Special Public Meeting to see if the Daly City Police Department followed their own Death Investigations Policy.
Daly City Police Department Death Investigations Policy
344.2.3 Death Cases Death investigations require specific investigation methods depending on circumstances and should be handled in accordance with the Death Investigations Policy. The handling officer should notify and apprise a supervisor of the circumstances surrounding the incident to determine how to proceed. The following cases shall be appropriately investigated and documented using the approved report: (a) Sudden or accidental deaths. (b) Suicides. (c) Homicide or suspected homicide
Eman Edais (new wife of 6 months) placed a 911 call to San Mateo County Dispatch at 1:59 AM on January 21, 2020.
Lorena Reyes the first Daly City Police Officer #2135 to respond to the scene. January 21, 2020 This is from her report. They have no children in common but she is 5 months pregnant with his child.
Eman Edais stated in the last two days they were arguing about an issue she did not want to disclose. She said he was sad and upset about the relationship.
I asked Eman Edais several times what was the issue they had; however, Eman said she did not want to talk about it because “His family will hate her.”
Eman repeatedly continued to say his death was “her fault,” but did not disclose why.
She told me there was a camera in bedroom #2 that was motion detection, however, Munir Mustafa Edais only had access to the application.
Eman also told me Munir Mustafa Edais was a police officer for Los Gatos Police Department.
At approximately 0247 = 2:47 AM I requested the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office be paged to my cell phone. Deputy Coroner Holly Benedict #15 called me and I advised her of the details to this case.
Daly City Police Officer Lorena Reyes had solved this Supicious Death Investigation in less than 45 minutes. That has to be some kind of record for San Mateo County Law Enforcement. She never secured the scene, didn’t remove Eman Edais from the apartment.
Any reasonable person would support the Public Audit of the Daly City Police Department, Lets see what the Daly City Government does.
Google Munir Edais death and see how many San Mateo County Newspapers informed their readers of the Very Suspicious Death of a Police Officer 28 months ago.
I have signed this petition because I support Law Enforcement for one thing and I support the family and Munir Edais two daughters.
On the morning of January 21st, 2020 at around 5:15am, Munir Edais’s family received a phone call from EMAN YASINS BROTHER, MOHAMMED YASIN, who notified Munir Edais’s father….”brace yourself..Munir hung himself”.
Mohammed Yasin knew before 5:15 AM January 21, 2020 that Munir Edais hung himself. That’s pretty fast 3 hours 15 minutes after the 911 call was placed. Is it the job of a brother of a potential suspect to notify the Victim’s relatives, that is news to me.
I have been reviewing what documents have been made available and have invested over 40 hours and I can tell you I don’t know if a perfectly healthy father of two, and a Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Officer in good standing actually hung himself sometime between January 19, 2020 and January 21, 2020. I would like to know how Mohammed Yasin knew that as FACT that morning.
Police Officer Munir Edais was found dead in his Daly City apartment 28 months ago. Who knew, I never heard about it until 8 days ago, How about you, when did you learn about it?
Shawanna Maltbie Please explain your Daly City Police Deparment’s behavior.
Daly City Manager Shawanna Maltbie
What actions did you take to assure the residents of Daly City and San Mateo County that the Police Department you are responsible for conducted a professional Suspicious Death Investigation of Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Officer and Father of two girls on January 21, 2020.
What was your personal response to the family’s Petition to Re-Open the Murder Investigation of a Police Officer/Father and Daly City Resident with more than 25,000 signatures. Did you ever make a Public Comment about it. If Not why didn’t you?
Shawanna Maltbie, Did you ever think to ask Daly City Police Sergeant Keith Mattos a Homicide Dectective of 28 years, These two questions: Did you say that? Yes or No and if the answer was YES, the next question would be What did you mean by “Never seen this much blood on a hanging victim.”
On 25th April 2021, the page posted an alleged quote by Keith Mattos, a sergeant at Daly City Police Department, saying, “In my 28 years as a homicide detective, I have never seen this much blood on a hanging victim.”
Did your Police Department ask/have the wife who made the 911 call at 2:00 AM on January 21, 2020 to take a Polygraph Test to verify if she was being truthful? The reason I ask this question is I am aware of the San Mateo County District Attorney Inspector Rick Decker asking a mother of 2 that I was assisting in filing a criminal complaint against her ex husband in a Family Law Matter, if she would be willing to take a Polygraph Test she said of course took it and passed with flying colors. We had already provided the photos which proved fraud I’m guessing the request was because her ex husband was a San Mateo County Sheriff Deputy. He was never asked to take one.
So I do know that Polygraph Tests are sometimes even given to VICTIMS who are simply reporting a crime in SMC.
How long did your Police Department Investigate this Suspicious Death as a potential Homicide?
Shawanna here is the Petition in case you have never heard about it.
I don’t know if you ever signed it, if not please do it right now. I suggest it Never was a Murder Investigation in the first place. You can take care of that.
Munir Edais Very Suspicious Death was in January 2020 that was 28 months ago.
Did he ever tell the many News Media he has connections with about this Daly City residents death? Nope, did he ever Tweet about it? Here is a tweet from today:
In case you missed David Canepa‘s Tweet
We need a strong and bold leader in Washington DC to challenge the status quo and the special interests that make huge profits while the middle class continues to erode.
I couldn’t help but think that David Canepa was talking about Candidate for Congress Emily Beach. The obvious is she is a woman and the second thing going for her is she is a VET.
Candidate for Congress David Canepa used to be the Mayor of Daly City, has he ever signed this Petition with close to 30,000 signatures. Has he ever made a Public Comment about a young Police Officer and Father of two daughters dying unexpectedly in Daly City under Extremely Suspicious Circumstances. The same question goes for Kevin Mullin another Candidate for Congress pretending he stand for the average resident of San Mateo County.
Kevin Mullin Candidate for Congress 2022
I invite both David Canepa and Kevin Mullin to sign this Petition if they haven’t already.
Photo from Scott Johnson’s letter November 10, 2021
This was two months before San Mateo County Manager Mike Callagy said He didn’t know anything about it. Thank goodness Scott Johnson was wrong or was he?
November 10, 2021 To: Kim An Le, Finance Section Chief From: Scott Johnson Logistics Section Chief Risk Manager, County of San Mateo RE: Inspection of Damaged PPE at event center I have examined the store of PPE that was stored at the Event Center. My understanding of the timeline based on interviews with the staff is as follows. The PPE was stored in an indoor facility. The staff was directed to move the PPE to a fenced area outside to accommodate an event that was to occur at the event center. The PPE was stored without incident using tarps, elevated pallets and plastic wraps. Unfortunately, a rain event called ? River occurred on a few days between October 21st and October 25th with intensity not anticipated. The Bay Area experience up to 10 inches of rain in one day. It was the most rain recorded in the month of October in 173 years of record keeping. At one point it rained for 34 straight hours. Winds averaged 25 mph during the event but gusted as high as 60+ mph. While the PPE had been protected, the protection was easily overcome by wind and rain. There was no time or place to move the substantial amount of PPE to a different location. I have attached photos and an inventory, but in my professional opinion, it is a total loss. I question the efficacy of PPE meant to keep people safe from Covid-19 given the damage. It is simply not worth the risk to human life. Should you have any questions, please let me know. I can be reached at extension 4387.
Some follow up questions for Scott Johnson what method did you use to come to the conclusion on NOVEMBER 10, 2021 that all of the PPE that was moved out of San Mateo County Event Center by September 27, 2021 according to Steve Perich of the SMCEC Staff. What are the names of the Staff members that you interviewed per your letter. Where is the Inventory list of all the PPE that you declared a Total Loss?
The obvious question is How did San Mateo County Government Officials go from a “Total Loss” to “We didn’t know anything about it until ABC7 Dan Noyes broke the story on January 13, 2022” To 98% of the PPE is Useable and Undamaged and the Wine Country Marines of Sonoma per President James Brown will be Distributing all of it on January 25, 2022 to whoever he determines is a qualified organization.
San Mateo County News.com is also requesting the Partnership Agreement mentioned above.
January 12, 2022 San Mateo County Department of Emergency Management DEM Director Daniel Belville who works directly for Mike Callagy communicated with James Brown President of Wine Country Marines out of Sonoma. The next day January 13, 2022 at 6:00 PM the WCM posted on their Facebook page:

Mr. Stogner,
There was no written agreement between the County and Wine Country Marines that predates the January 27, 2022 agreement I produced to you. There was no written agreement prior to January 13, 2022 at 6PM, and there is no separate Financial Agreement. Because Mr. Brown is not a County employee, I cannot know what he meant in his blog post, but as far as we are aware, he was not referring to a written record.
The reason I asked for this document is simple, every time someone gives me more than $10,000,000 of something I like to have some kind written verification, proof, evidence etc that I in fact do have the authority to distribute this PPE which was paid for with FEMA money.
It took San Mateo County Government 90 days to say the truth.
There was no written agreement between the County and Wine Country Marines on or before January 13, 2022.

Agenda Item #5 Update on Event Center Surplus Safety Equipment
This was the title for Agenda Item 5 of the March 22, 2022 Board of Supervisors Meeting. That might explain why there was only ONE public comment on this topic.
The person that put this on the Agenda was San Mateo County Manager Mike Callagy, with the approval of County Counsel.
I would say this was more of a regurgitation of the same story that Mr. Callagy has been promoting since January 13, 2022, when he told ABC 7 I-Team Investigative Reporter Dan Noyes that he knew nothing about it.
In San Mateo County Manager Mike Callagy’s Presentation he fails to mention these three, that I reported on the day before in the above article.
Deputy County Manager Iliana Rodriguez, San Mateo County Chief Financial Officer Roberto Manchia, Department of Emergency Management Director Daniel Belville.
County Manager to the Board of Supervisors March 22, 2022 “I think the Important thing is that we are TRANSPARENT. We own up to it, and we learn from it”
I personally think the Important thing is tell the truth from the Get Go.
Let me give a simple example, On January 13, 2022 SMC County Manager Mike Callagy never mentions James Brown or the Wine Country Marines a 501-C in Sonoma. He did say “We brought in the Marines.”
He doesn’t mention Iliana Rodriquez of his office has been vetting James Brown and WCM since December 2021.
Mike Callagy, Don Horsley, David Canepa, Carole Groom, Warren Slocom and Dave Pine. You are NOT TRANSPARENT.
Red Flag 1:39:00 mark, “The other goods were eventually moved outside for temporary storage and were regrettably ah remained there during the significant storms last fall LEADING TO THE INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION.” What do you know about this Independent Investigation so far? What is the scope of this Investigation? Is the Investigation about the significant storms? Why was there an update without having this Investigator make a presentation at the BOS meeting?
Red Flag 1:39:11 mark, “We’ve been lucky enough throughout this AFTER ACTION to really partner with Wine Country Marines to continue to work on distributing these surplus equipment. Everybody knows what an AFTER ACTION is, Right?
The residents of San Mateo County remember what the Foster City Gang of 3 did to their City Manager.
Foster City Manager Peter Prinejad was FIRED for ZERO reason. The residents of Los Altos Hills are the winners in that case they now have a Great City Manager.
