Minneapolis Police Department are releasing the Body Worn Cameras (BWC) from Police Officers who were involved in a Shooting that caused the death of a civilian yesterday. That is exactly how it should be done.
The Half Moon Bay May 5, 2020 Homicide of Sandra Lee Harmon by San Mateo County Sheriff Deputies who claimed a Shootout was very different, so much so that the City Council asked the Attorney General to conduct an Independent Criminal Investigation of the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Bolanos promoted a story that his deputy didn’t turn on his BWC and since has refused to provide the AXON Log Records which would prove his deputy’s story. Sheriff Bolanos did not ask his deputy to take a Polygraph Test regarding his alleged failure to turn on the BWC. Also Sheriff Bolanos released a highly edited and Captioned video 45 days later which does show that Sandra Lee Harmon was fired at while she was unarmed with hands above her head. She died from 3 FATAL shots in her back.
The first in custody death of Julio Boch- Curup, 21 R.I.P. happened on November 11, 2020.
The second in custody death happened November 24, 2020. Name not released yet.
That’s 2 In Custody Deaths of San Mateo County Sheriff in 2 weeks.
The obvious question is why are people in San Mateo County Jail during a Pandemic. Are they there because they couldn’t afford bail? Are they the most dangerous to the public?
Is two Inmate deaths in 2 weeks normal for this time of the year?
What do the 5 Supervisors think about this?
Which Law Enforcement Agency is investigating these two In-Custody Deaths?
With what the Residents now know about Yanira Serrano Garcia R.I.P., Errol Chang R.I.P., Chinedu V. Okobi R.I.P. and Sandra L. Harmon R.I.P. all Homicides by Law Enforcement of course Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos would request the Attorney General of the State of California to investigate these two deaths. Right?
The San Mateo County Sheriff Employees and their Families. They have a right to know and they have a right to protect themselves if you won’t.
Sheriff Bolanos, What is your plan to protect your Employees?
What is your plan to protect the Inmates in San Mateo County?

I am working on a special assignment related to response to Covid-19 and it may take me a longer than usual amount of time to respond. Please bear with me.
What are you and San Mateo County Counsel Attorney David Silberman providing as a Safe Quarantine Location for Deputies who come into contact with potential COVID-19 carriers, or Confirmed people with the virus? Is there a location for them to safely stay away from their families if that is what the Spouses desire.
Has the Jail Population been reduced?
Have you instructed the Patrol Deputies to interact with the public in a different way since Jan. 20, 2020?
San Mateo County Sheriff G. Bolanos has refused to answer that Question?

Hello Rosemerry and Sheriff Carlos Bolanos, Can you tell me How many Test Kits does the Sheriff’s Office have on hand today, What is the Policy for patrol Deputies interacting with the public and when should they be testing for their safety. Since COVID-19 Positive Results are from people who show no sign of illness, what are you and D.J Wozniak advising the Deputies and Sergeants to do to Protect themselves and their families. Have you provided a safe location for Deputies to self Quarantine away from their families if that is what the spouses request. Have you had any Deputies or Correctional Officers tested for COVID-19 to date. Have any tested positive? Do you have any staff of Self Quarantine today?
Thank You Michael G. Stogner San Mateo County News.com
COVID-19 Testing is the Most Important action that can take place.
San Mateo County residents should be very proud this Judge is on the bench.
He is the exception, In the Del Carlo Case 11/17/ 2017 which was connected to the former Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez case, He informs DDA Bryan Abanto, “I’m confident it should have been disclosed to the Grand Jury.”
For the average resident this means it was Prosecutorial Misconduct.
Result: MOTION TO DISMISS BY SUGERMAN FOR DEL CARLO, GRANTED
Supervisors keep pushing for a new jail to be built. 3 of them are on the non-profit Service League that controls millions of dollars for services for inmates. There is obviously a bias, they should not be deciding on this. The residents VOTERS need to decide whether we should be known for our jail.
