Daly City Police in Action December 2020. Just there to Help the Auditor.

By Michael G. Stogner

This is the best way to see how your Police Department actually behaves. An unannounced AUDIT.

This video was made 11 months after the Very Suspicious Death of a Police Officer in his Daly City apartment sometime between January 19-21, 2020. Munir Edais R.I.P.

This video was made 4 months before Roger Allen R.I.P. was shot and killed by this same Police Department while he was sitting in the passenger seat of a disabled truck in a residential neighborhood. The vehicle was surrounded by 4 DCPD Officers who were there to HELP according to Daly City Government’s Official Story. That was the first time I have ever heard of 4 Police Officers offering Roadside Assistance. They should leave that to AAA.

By Michael G. Stogner

Chinedu Valentine Okobi SMC’s George Floyd

A federal judge on Thursday July 7, 2022 sentenced Derek Chauvin to 21 years in prison for violating George Floyd’s civil rights.

Violating Civil Rights sounds so much nicer then Murder doesn’t it?

San Mateo County Residents, do any of you think Chinedu Valentine Okobi’s Civil Rights were not violated on October 3, 2018 in Millbrae at 1:00 PM in the middle of the afternoon by SIX San Mateo County Sheriff Employees? I do.

Supervisors Meeting today, Kristina Bell #15 and County Counsel Appointment in Closed session.

By Michael G. Stogner

Item 15. Recommendation to confirm the appointment of Kristina Bell to the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Recovery Commission, representing Law Enforcement, for an initial term ending September 30, 2024.Sponsors:
Supervisor Dave Pine

If Agenda Item 15 is talking about San Mateo County Sheriff Captain Kristina Bell who has been identified by the City of San Carlos as their Police Chief, I would recommend Item 15 be removed from the agenda until the 5 Supervisors can ask her about the Domestic Violence call Redwood City Police Officers responded to at her residence, which San Mateo County News.com reported about on May 22, 2018. This is an example of “Those Who Matter”

San Mateo County News.com article on D.V. call

The second item of interest is in CLOSED SESSION: Public Employee Appointment:

Title: County Counsel

You can’t really tell if they are talking about San Mateo County Counsel John C. Beiers or not.

Time will tell.

Redwood City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz, got a 10% Raise, Why?

By Michael G. Stogner

Redwood City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz

City Manager’s are responsible for the behavior of the Police Department, they are the OVERSIGHT for the Residents, to make sure that Nobody is Above the Law.

The Redwood City Police Department has two sets of Daily Log Records, The City manager is fine with that.

San Mateo County News.com January 23, 2020 Article

The Redwood City Police Department doesn’t report all Domestic Violence Calls they respond too. The City manager is fine with that.

San Mateo County News.com May 22, 2018 Article

The Redwood City Police Department does NOT follow DUI protocol, with everyone they arrest. The City Manager is fine that.

San Mateo County News.com October 1, 2019 Article

Ask Melissa Stevenson Diaz if the Redwood City Police Officers took possession of San Mateo County Sheriff Sergeant Lou Aquino’s California Drivers License as required for failing to provide Blood or Breath samples. The answer is No they did not, The City Manager is fine with that.

San Mateo County News.com September 11, 2018 Article “Those Who Matter”

The City Manager was fine with this.

Many Americans are lucky they are still employed at all during this Pandemic, many are employed at less hours then pre-pandemic and yet thankful to have any employment at this time. Last year Melissa Stevenson Diaz received a 3.5% increase in salary. Why did the City Council approve a 10% increase in salary this year?

That is the Question the Residents of Redwood City should be asking.

Chinedu V. Okobi, SMC’s George Floyd.

By Michael G. Stogner

Chinedu Valentine Okobi

Sunday, October 3rd at 2:00 pm, Chinedu Okobi Remembrance Rally led by the San Mateo NAACP, Unitarian Universalists of San Mateo, Island United Church, Justice For Chinedu, the families of victims who died at the hands of law enforcement, community leaders and members.

Tomorrow 2PM-3:30PM

Location: 400 County Center Building, Redwood City, California.

San Mateo County Residents don’t know very much about Chinedu V. Okobi’s Homicide, and that is exactly what the Government wants. When I say government I’m also including the Media/Newspapers.

Chinedu Valentine Okobi, is San Mateo County’s George Floyd, the difference is the world saw George Floyd Murdered because of a very brave 17 year old girl who videoed it and placed it on the internet before Law Enforcement, Elected Officials could get there hands on it. That is what happened in San Mateo County.

First lets start at the Top with Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos, He is a LIAR, that is NO SECRET.

Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos

Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos Omits Community Service Officer (CSO) Joseph Gonzales name. He was Very Involved.

Chinedu V. Okobi was not running in and out of traffic, before Deputy Wang targeted him. Chinedu did NOT immediately assault Deputy Wang. Chinedu died on El Camino Real in San Bruno/Millbrae. The Six Sheriff Employees did not provide ANY life saving Measures for 9 minutes after they killed him.

Chinedu Valentine Okobi, was a 36 year old Father, Son, Brother, Moorehouse College Graduate, who was simply walking on the sidewalk on a sunny afternoon in Millbrae, when SMC Sheriff Deputy Wang got attracted to him.

I will be joining this group of very good humans tomorrow. I remember when I first met them at a Board of Supervisor Meeting, I thought to myself, These are my People.

Sheriff”s Office Press Release

NEWS RELEASE Incident Date and Time: April 30, 2021 @ 2:26 pm

Location: 500 block of Quarry Road, San Carlos Summary: Deputies Added ECIT Resources and Training has Positive Outcome in

Disengagement of Person in Crisis During Welfare Check.

On Friday, April 30, 2021, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 500 block of Quarry Road in San Carlos to conduct a welfare check on an individual who was reported as possibly experiencing a mental health crisis. While enroute, deputies learned the subject was also in possession of a knife. Deputies staged a safe distance away and made phone contact with several parties at the scene, including the individual’s social worker.

Deputies learned the individual did not make any threats, commit any crimes, and no one was being held against their will. The individual had no interest in speaking with his social worker
in person or with deputies on the phone. Approximately one hour after arriving on scene, deputies determined it was in everyone’s best interest that they disengage and leave the scene without forcing contact with the individual. Deputies followed-up with the individuals social worker the following day and learned the individual had stabilized and was no longer experiencing a mental health crisis.

This response highlights the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office’s Enhanced Crisis Intervention Training program (ECIT) and how our crisis response has aligned with recent law changes (California AB-392) as well as community expectations. Unless there is imminent danger or threats to others, deputies will conduct pre-assessments, gather as much information as possible, and form a plan for de-escalation prior to attempting contact with individual in crisis.

We understand the mere presence of uniformed deputies can escalate situations, and we will utilize time and distance whenever possible to assess the best course of action for each situation. In cases like this, by modifying our response and not making immediate contact to check the welfare of an individual in crisis, we maintain the option to disengage, which in some cases, provides the individual the opportunity to self-de-escalate.

In many cases where mental illness is involved, crisis communication and verbal de-escalation can prove to be challenging because their disability may affect their ability to understand or comply with commands from deputies. For this reason, disengagement in these cases is sometimes the best de- escalation option. Deputies can then refer the case to the Sheriff’s Office Psychiatric Emergency Response Team, who will then form a plan to contact the subject at a later time if appropriate, to assess for resources.

SMC Voters can Kill two Birds with one stone in 2022. Bolanos and Silberman

By Michael G. Stogner

Retired Deputy Mark Melville is running for Sheriff of San Mateo County in 2022.

San Mateo County Voters can elect Mark Melville as Sheriff in 2022 and several things will change for the better the first day he is in office. These two gentleman will be removed from involvement of the Sheriff’s Office.

He has promised to release the Axon Log Records involving the May 5, 2020 Homicide by Law Enforcement of Sandra Lee Harmon. Currently there is only one person who is obstructing those records being made public. That person is San Mateo Counsel Attorney David Silberman. Why are those records important, Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos told the world that Sheriff Deputy David Dominguez did Not turn on his Body Worn Camera, He is the Deputy who fired 11 shots at Ms. Harmon including while she was unarmed with her hands above her head with her back towards the deputy. Ms. Harmon received 3 FATAL SHOTS to her back. Has Sheriff Carlos Bolanos ever lied to the residents of San Mateo County before of course he has too many times to mention here. The release of the Axon Log Records would VERIFY Sheriff Bolanos’ statement “Sheriff Deputy David Dominguez did Not turn on his Body Worn Camera” Who would object to that except David Silberman, Why?

I recently asked Candidate Mark Melville for San Mateo County Sheriff 2022, When he is elected Sheriff will he be replacing David Silberman as the attorney for the Sheriff’s Office? His short answer was Absolutely.

Michael,
My short answer to your question is, absolutely.  I know County Counsel is in place to “Protect” the County.  I don’t believe the Sheriff’s Office is being well represented by Mr. Silberman.  But then again, I have no idea what information he is being fed by Sheriff Bolanos.  I believe in 100% transparency.  If you are telling the truth, there is nothing to hide. You owe it to all the constituents of the County to properly identify the situation / incident and you tell everyone what it is you are going to do to rectify it.  And, I might add you do it in a timely manner..!!
Mark——

I can not think of a more impactful vote then the next Election for Sheriff of San Mateo County 2022.

You put in one good human being at the top and everything changes. Imagine that.
