David Canepa, How much has SMC Taxpayers paid to defend Sheriff Deputy David Dominguez?

By Michael G. Stogner

As a Private Victim’s Advocate in San Mateo County for the last 21 years, I have always recommended releasing the recording evidence unedited to the public within 24 hours.

On May 5, 2020 Sandra Lee Harmon R.I.P. Homicide by Law Enforcement in Half Moon Bay was no different. I recommended the release of the UNEDITED Body Worn Camera Video to the public within 24 hours. Not one of the FIVE San Mateo County Supervisors did the same.

Supervisor David Canepa is now Fundraising and is a Candidate for Congress.

Here we are 22 months after the Homicide and San Mateo County Counsel files this: Answering Paragraph 3, Defendants admit that Defendant Deputy Dominguez failed to turn on his body worn camera immediately prior to the incident at issue.

Supervisor David Canepa, What is the EVIDENCE to support that statement? You should know what the evidence is that has your Attorneys making that statement. You have attended several Closed door sessions being briefed on this lawsuit.

Affirmative Defenses
Defendants have not yet completed discovery, propounded interrogatories, submitted requests for documents, or taken depositions. WHY? It’s simple release the AXON Log Records. They will confirm or prove false the statement just made by County Counsel.

San Mateo County and SMCSO were aware that Dominguez resigned from the San Mateo Police Department due to unsatisfactory performance in the field training program.

I ask the question again, How much Taxpayer money has been invested in the defense of SMC, City of Half Moon Bay and Deputy David Dominguez?

Once you answer that question, the next question is Why did you approve that?

John Beiers is an At-Will employee: Respectfully submitted, JOHN C. BEIERS, COUNTY COUNSEL

SFPD Sergeant Davin Lyle Cole in Court Today. To listen call 503-300-6847 code 438807 Time 9 AM, 21SF012848A

SFPD Sergeant Davin Cole on Administrative Leave

Update: The Judge asked Davin Lyle Cole’s Attorney, “Why is your client NOT HERE.” His attorney represented to the court that he is in Rehab and the somebody at Rehab said it would be a bad idea for him leave and show up at a San Mateo County Superior Court today. So Judge said OK and allowed him to appear on ZOOM.

Next Court date is February 7, 2022 @ 2:00 PM

Lets see how this case goes, Robbery, with a Gun, Resisting Arrest.

Here is a really good PR piece on his arrest, “Everybody is Shocked” “It was a Secret,” “Nobody Knew,” and he is now in Rehab.

The title is the give away: SFPD sergeant arrested for robbing Rite Aid in treatment for prescription pill addiction.

ABC Story on Arrest

Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos

I was not able to find the Booking Photo from San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, under the Leadership of Carlos G. Bolanos, that is another Red Flag, that this is a “Those Who Matter” case.

Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos, Please release the Booking Photo of SFPD Sergeant Davin Cole, and can you tell the public why you didn’t in the first place?

I checked the SMCSO Press Releases for SFPD Sergeant Davin Cole Arrest and found Nothing, Zero, Zip,

Here is what I did find for November 5, 2021

A fair and level playing field would make all Booking Photos available to the Public, The Five Supervisors of San Mateo County Support Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos’ method of picking and choosing which Booking Photo and Arrest to make Public. That is a very Bad Idea.

This looks a little more serious then the Media has reported.

Former San Mateo Police Officer Noah Winchester Sentenced to 81 years to life.

Sexually assaulting five women while on duty.

This morning Jan 16, 2020, In San Mateo County Superior Court, 400 County Center Redwood City.
San Mateo County prosecutor Alpana Samant asked for 89 years to life in prison.  The defense asked for 10 years, 8 month state prison.  The Hon. Judge Lisa Novak sentenced Noah White Winchester to 81 years to life in prison.

22 charges were filed against a former San Mateo police officer accused of sexually assaulting five women while on duty.

This is still the big question for parents of Daughters, what do you tell them about interacting with Police Officers. Should they pull over right away if they get lit up or continue driving to a very public location. San Mateo County Law Enforcement and the Supervisors have never addressed this very serious issue. Perhaps they should.

Ed Barberini is San Mateo Police Chief.

By Michael G. Stogner

san-mateo-police-chief-patch___22170637993

He starts February 3, 2020

All San Mateo County Cities and government officials claim that they have found the perfect guy or gal only after an “extensive national search,” A month long National Search etc. Mike Nevin, Jim Hartnett and now Ed Barberini come to mind.

City Manager Drew Corbett said Barberini was chosen because of his diverse law enforcement background and experience in the county.

Why did he leave the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office?

What was his position when the Sheriff and UnderSheriff were caught and detained inside a Human Trafficked Sex Slave residence which included at least one minor April 21, 2007. What was his position when Undersheriff Carlos G. Bolanos went to the media the day and promoted a False Story about the massage parlor mix up. Similar to the Epstein Prosecutors False Story calling the children victims Prostitutes. What was his position in 2010 when a Brave Female San Mateo County Sheriff Deputy reported 45 Sheriff Employees receiving Porn and Rape Videos on the County Server and Sheriff Computers. One San Mateo County Sheriff Employee sending it to the 45. What was his position when UnderSheriff Bolanos interfered in an Investigation involving his son 2011.  Most recently the October 3, 2018 in San Bruno Homicide of Chinedu Okobi by Six San Mateo County Sheriff Employees,

Did he speak out about any of this?

Senator Jerry Hill to Mark De Paula”No I’m Not.” “I don’t want to talk about it.”

By Michael G. Stogner & Sarah Navratil

Today March 24, 2018 in San Mateo at the Veterans Parade, Good and Concerned Citizen Mark De Paula finally got to speak to Senator Jerry Hill without him being in a controlled environment. The responses above are to the Question I guess your not embarrassed to endorse Carlos Bolanos for Sheriff 2018? Answer No I’m Not, I don’t want to talk about it.” I’m not surprised Jerry Hill was in Las Vegas that weekend of Operation Dollhouse and helped cover it up. He did absolutely nothing for the residents of San Mateo County to get to the truth about 3474 Eldon Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, and how many Sheriff Deputies were really there that night.

Mark De Paula is asking every Elected Official in San Mateo County to withdraw their Endorsement of Carlos Bolanos for Sheriff 2018. He never got a response from Jerry Hills office so this was a perfect chance to ask Jerry in person. Great Job Mr. De Paula

It gets better Mr. De Paula asked San Mateo City Council Member Eric Rodriguez to “please withdraw your endorsement of Carlos Bolanos for Sheriff 2018.”

Mr. Rodriquez response “How dare you bring that subject up, I got your e-mail (which he never responded to) I’m talking to people.

Note to Mr. Eric Rodriquez, So is Mark De Paula talking to people.

Maureen Freshet former Mayor of San Mateo said you are welcome, when Mr. De Paula said “thank you for not endorsing Carlos G. Bolanos for San Mateo County Sheriff -election June 5, 2018.” Very polite and pleasant.

E-mail sent to most SMC elected officials yesterday.

Subject: Carlos Bolanos and You
If you are receiving this email it is because you or a friend have endorsed a man who has either a) As a career lawman stood outside an obvious illegal brothel while his boss, the Sheriff of San Mateo County had sex with a probably minor sex-slave inside, or; b) Waited inside the brothel for his turn at the child sex-slaves while his boss was busy in one of the bedrooms.
There is no upside for you here. Add in the fact that it has now been alleged by an apparent SMCSO Deputy that Bolanos and Munks offered false IDs and were arrested and taken downtown before being bailed out by Gallagher, Kearnan and Sanchez and then add in the fact that the people who bailed them out appear to have been promoted ahead of grade and position up to the point of retirement as Assistant Sheriffs.
Carlos Bolanos is a toxic waste heap that is going to devour you if you remain supportive of him. Several smart local politicians have already pulled their endorsements of him. You must do the same or you risk deservedly and ignominiously going down with him in the fallout of your support for law enforcement officers who facilitated or solicited child-slaves in the service of their “needs.”
Dump Bolanos now. It is the only even remotely smart political choice you have. And announce it to the world when you do. Anything less and you risk being associated with Carols Bolanos forever.

HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

Tonight at just before 7pm SMPD officers were advised of a shooting incident to the rear of the 3500 block of South El Camino Real, in a parking lot. Officers quickly arrived and located a 31 year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical aid was immediately started, however despite lifesaving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crime scene remains active as detectives and officers develop additional information.

With the assistance of the California Highway Patrol, a possible suspect vehicle was pursued at high speeds North on 280 to 380, and then North on 101 to San Francisco. Officers were able to stop and safely detain two subjects (driver and passenger) near Market St. and Octavia in San Francisco. SMPD can confirm that the pursuit is related to this investigation, as involved officers and detectives continue to pursue leads, assisted by local agencies.

This appears to have been an isolated incident, and not a random act. SMPD officers and detectives continue to pursue leads. This is an active investigation, and there is no further available information at this time. SMPD will provide an update as soon as we are able.

Anyone who may have information that may help in this case is asked to please contact Detective Nick Ryan at (650) 522-7670 or call the SMPD Secret Witness Line at (650)522-7676.
