A federal judge on Thursday July 7, 2022 sentenced Derek Chauvin to 21 years in prison for violating George Floyd’s civil rights.
Violating Civil Rights sounds so much nicer then Murder doesn’t it?
San Mateo County Residents, do any of you think Chinedu Valentine Okobi’s Civil Rights were not violated on October 3, 2018 in Millbrae at 1:00 PM in the middle of the afternoon by SIX San Mateo County Sheriff Employees? I do.
CSO Joseph Gonzales, Sergeant David Weidner, Deputy Joshua Wang, Deputy Bryan Watt, Deputy Alyssa Lorenzatti, Deputy John DeMartini.
The Governments Video Ommits CSO Joseph Gonzales like magic. 7:02-7:05 mark who do you see?
The first sentence: The San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office has concluded its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Chinedu Okobi, which occurred on October 3, 2018 after a physical struggle with five deputies from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office on the 1400 block of El Camino Real in Millbrae.
No mention of CSO Joseph Gonzales the 6th SMCSO employee, Why?
Update: 4:00 PM March 17, 2022 Attorney for San Mateo County Daniel T. McCloskey appeared and informed the Judge that Mr. Eblovi filled a Motion to Dismiss the case 2 weeks ago. The Judge checked his records and said the court has no record of that being filed. Mr. Eblovi did not make an appearance.
DAVID C. EBLOVI vs. COUNTY OF SAN MATEO – 21CV002208
This is a case to watch, Why would a resident of Half Moon Bay, California be compelled to Sue the Government of San Mateo County over the Homicide of Sandra Lee Harmon R.I.P. by the Sheriff’s Office Employees on May 5, 2020.
Why would David Eblovi file the Lawsuit in Alameda County and not San Mateo County?
Why does San Mateo County Government want this case heard in SMC?
Mr. Eblovi knows the truth about how San Mateo County Government works and it is the Residents who are responsible for the behavior of ALL Government Officials.
San Mateo County District Attorney DDA Kimberly Perrotti casually told the Hon. Judge Joseph Scott that case is old and was “Thrown Out” It should not be mentioned in front of the Jury because it would take up too much time of the Court and it could Confuse the Jury.
DDA Perrotti is right about one thing that case is old, it was filed in 2014. Was it really just “Thrown Out” if that were true why would the Government be wasting so much of the Taxpayer’s money and the Courts time making sure it doesn’t get mentioned in this trial?
I’ve said for many years now that the Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez case is one of the Most Exciting Criminal cases I have ever reported on. It is a simple and easy to understand example of Corruption and Organized Crime in San Mateo County.
Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez’s Cases should be Used as a case study of what happens when the Government is the Enemy of the ordinary resident who is not a member of the “Those Who Matter” team which thanks to now District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe brought to the Public’s attention in his April 25, 2007 e-mail to then Sheriff Greg Munks and UnderSheriff Carlos G. Bolanos.
Note: I still call Juan P. Lopez a Sheriff Deputy out of my respect to him and his unshakable position of wanting a JURY TRIAL of his peers. He was forced to retire so officially he is ret. Sheriff Deputy.
He has always wanted that TRIAL, and He as always wanted the Public to be able to watch that trial, he has refused Plea Deals offered by the DA’s Office.
Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez wants the public to know the Truth, and he is entitled to a Fair Trial.
Next Court date; March 18, 2022 Time 9:00 AM in Courtroom 2G Hon. Judge Joseph Scott
Tell you favorite SMC Newspaper or Reporters you would like them to attend in person and report on this case.
“Thrown Out” is not a legal term and I would not have used it, if DDA Kimberly Perrotti had not said it in court.
Yesterday was a first for me in 22 years observing and reporting of SMC Courts. San Mateo County District Attorney Deputy Kimberly Perrotti informed the court that she had personally contacted the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s prosecutor who was trying a case that Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez’s Co-Counsel Erica Elizabeth Treeby was the defense attorney in. She reported to Judge Scott that Ms. Treeby would be available on March 17, 2022 in SMC, because of this alleged conversation. She did not identify this person, and this person has not been called to testify about this alleged conversation and there was no declaration filed.
I think it would be great for the public to know about that entire conversation from start to finish.
I would like to know how many times DDA Kimberly Perrotti has checked up on the Defense Attorneys opposing her?
Remember this is a Political Prosecution of Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez it’s that simple. Photo below is from 2014. You do the math for lost wages and cost to Defend against these False Charges, that were “THROWN OUT”
How many of you think Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez is guilty of this Smuggling Case?

Wonderful photo by SMDJ of Aldon Smith, Definitely NOT a Booking Photo.Sheriff Carlos G. BolanosD.A. Stephen M. Wagstaffe
This is a “Those who Matter” case, San Mateo County Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos provided NO BOOKING PHOTO or PRESS/NEWS RELEASE of the arrest. Why?
That is the first Tell. The 2nd Tell is Defense Attorney Josh Bentley, The 3rd Tell District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe filed this case as a Misdemeanor 21-SM instead of a 21-SF which is a FELONY.
Smith declined a field sobriety test but later took a blood test that showed a blood-alcohol content of .288 percent, District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe confirmed Thursday. Smith spent the night in jail. (source San Jose Mercury News Michael Nowels)
By declining a sobriety test at the scene, you forfeit California Drivers License for 1 year, unless you are one of the “Those Who Matter” TEAM.
If he was a BAC of .288 why is he charged with a 0.08?
San Mateo County has a First Chance DUI program for 1st time offenders. To my knowledge it does not have a 4th or 5th Chance DUI Program.
San Mateo County does have Defense Attorney Josh Bentley, Watch this case, it is going to be exciting.
TMZ was the first to report the arrest on December 6, 2021.
When I say watch this case, I mean show up to Court IN PERSON. A reasonable thinking person would know that there is a COVID-19 Pandemic in San Mateo County at this time. Listening by phone to the Court Hearings would be a lot safer you would think. Superior Court of California County of San Mateo Presiding Judge Leland Davis III thinks just the opposite. He cancelled Public Access by Telephone on November 22, 2021.
If you do attend the next Court date don’t be surprised if Aldon Smith and Josh Bentley appear remotely for safety reasons. Who would blame them. Stay Safe
Hindi, Awasthi, Sullivan, The Residents want Decency.
It wasn’t that long ago that a group of Foster City residents got together and said Enough is Enough. They organized, collected signatures, put a Recall measure on the ballot, and removed the Vice Mayor, from office, and they were SUCCESSFUL Why? Lack of Decency, that’s why. They wanted their Elected Officials to behave in a respectful and decent manner at all times, especially towards members of the public.
behavior that conforms to accepted standardsof morality or respectability.
The residents of Foster City have demonstrated before their demand for Honesty and Decency.
This story is at the very beginning it is about San Mateo County Politics and Those Who Matter vs. the Residents.
What was so important to remove the Recently Hired City Manager at this moment in time when the Assistant City Manager had just left Foster City 2 weeks ago, and has not been replaced. That equals a Leadership vacuum that was self inflicted by Hindi, Awasthi, and Sullivan. They have caused their City to be missing the two Full time employees who run the City.
Surely they must have a plan that they just haven’t shared yet, and the public looks forward to learning about it.
Imagine being on a 747 flight from SFO to Hawaii and you’ve just been informed that your Pilot and Co-Pilot are No Longer Flying the plane.
October 3, 2018 Chinedu V. Okobi was killed in Millbrae by Six San Mateo County Sheriff Employees.
San Mateo County Sheriff Sergeant was not one of those Six Employees involved in the Homicide.
19 days later on October 22, 2018 he filed a Police Report Falsely claiming he ordered Deputy Alyssa Lorenzatti to remove the handcuffs from Chinedu Okobi and he further claims Deputy Alyssa Lorenzatti did that. Why would he be willing to jeopardize his career at SMCSO and make this False Statement?
The Truth and Fact is Chinedu V. Okobi was given Chest Compressions for 10 minutes while he was handcuffed.
Did SMCSO Sergeant Zaidi create this False Story on his own?
How much money has San Mateo County Taxpayers invested/spent because of Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos’s behavior? On October 3, 2018 CSO Joesph Gonzales was one of the SIX San Mateo County Sheriff Office Employees involved in the Homicide of Chinedu V. Okobi. Everybody knew that including Sheriff Bolanos and his Public Information Officer PIO.
You don’t see CSO Joseph Gonzales listed. Ask Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos why? Ask the Supervisors why?
It’s been almost 3 years since Chinedu V. Okobi was not only killed by Six SMCSO Employees, they all failed to provide even the most basic medical attention like check his pulse for the next 9 minutes after his last sound was heard. Sergeant Irfan Zaidi provided a False Police Report 18 days later about how he ordered the Handcuffs removed from Chinedu V. Okobi. An obvious false statement.
How many closed door sessions has the Board of Supervisors held on the two Okobi Lawsuits?

This is a great question for every candidate for San Mateo County Elected positions especially the Supervisors. Are you in favor of the Sheriff of San Mateo County knowingly making false statements to the 760,000 residents? YES or NO
