San Mateo County’s Idea of Homelessness.

By Michael G. Stogner

Does this look like Homeless to you?

Some San Mateo County Manager Mike Callagy quotes from today’s LATIMES Article By Brittny Mejia

The long-term goal, he said, is to see the temporary shelters go away and affordable housing take their place.

The county is using an additional $55.3-million Homekey grant to construct and operate a navigation center with 240 units in Redwood City.

“Our Year of Working Together to End Homelessness.” In it, Callagy called this the highest priority for himself and the Board of Supervisors.

Using federal CARES Act funds and state Homekey money,

“We’re calling this the year to end homelessness in San Mateo County. This is a lofty goal, don’t get me wrong. This is very lofty. But we believe that we can get there,” said Mike Callagy, county manager. “We want to be the first to end homelessness of any county in California.”

This is the same County Manager and the same Five Supervisors that just last January 13, 2022 acknowledged to ABC 7 Investigative Reporter Dan Noyes that they knew Absolutely Nothing about several San Mateo County employees making agreements with James Brown President of Wine Country Marines a 501-c located in Sonoma County, and also President of West Coast Solution Inc, located in San Carlos, to distribute the more than $10,000,000.00 of PPE, on January 25, 2022.

I mention Supervisor David Canepa because he is a Candidate for Congress right this minute. This is what he said about the PPE.

“I don’t think it’s a San Mateo County Issue.”

SMC PPE “Convoy of Garbage Trucks filled with Brand-New PPE to the Dumps.”

Remember when ABC 7 News Investigative Reporter Dan Noyes first reported on January 13, 2022 at 6:12PM.

ABC 7 News PPE Story Video

At the 5:04-5:20 mark Dan Noyes reports a source confirmed the cost of all the PPE is more than $10,000,000.00. He also reports from the same source who said that a CONVOY of garbage trucks picked up a bunch of Brand-New PPE and took it to the dumps in the last 2 months.

That is when I had to ask, How many trucks make up a CONVOY? How does anybody know where that CONVOY of Garbage Trucks took the Brand-New PPE in November or December of 2021?

I have Good News to report on that subject. Last night I received a response from Caiti T. Busch of the San Mateo County Counsel Office to my public records request.

The County has NOT disposed of any of this equipment, but rather has distributed it or continues to store it, so I do not have responsive records with respect to disposal.

So now the question gets back to the CONVOY of Garbage Trucks full of Brand-New PPE in November or December 2021. Were they simply distributing it?

San Mateo County is at 59 days and the Government has still refused to answer the Simple Question, Who gave James Brown the PPE on or Before January 13, 2022.

Here is the short list of possibilities: Travis Kushman, Dan Belville, Mike Callagy, Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos, Ret. Lt. John Kovach, SMCSO Captain Christina Corpus.

San Mateo County Residents, Who gave James Brown the P.P.E.?

By Michael G. Stogner

It’s a SIMPLE Question and the Government has not answered it for 58 days. Why?

It’ really a shame the 5 Supervisors of San Mateo County continue to refuse to do their job. But when you put it in perspective More than $10,000,000.00 of PPE being given to James Brown on or before January 13, 2022 is really nothing compared to what the 5 Supervisors did to San Mateo County Residents on April 21, 2007.

One of the Supervisors is a candidate for Congress, The Voters will decide, Supervisor David Canepa said on January 25, 2022 “I don’t think It’s a San Mateo County Issue.” I’m pretty sure it is.

Here is what I Hand Delivered on March 1, 2022 because the Supervisors refused to do their job.

San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, and the PPE.

By Michael G. Stogner

Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos

It’s been 40 days since ABC 7 Investigative Reporter Dan Noyes reported about the more than $10,000,000.00 of P.P.E. left outside the San Mateo County Event Center unprotected and the Convoy of Recology Garbage Trucks full of P.P.E. 2 months prior. To this day the identity of the person who gave the P.P.E. to James Brown remains a mystery. WHY?

My mother said many times, “If you don’t know where something is, it could be anywhere.” The same is true if you don’t know who the person is. It’s been 25 days and San Mateo County residents don’t know who ordered the PPE outside. Who ordered the CONVOY of Garbage Trucks? Who gave James Brown of Wine Country Marines the PPE on or before January 13, 2022. So I thought I would ask Travis Kusman.

Good morning Mr. Kusman,

My name is Michael G. Stogner I am the co-owner of San Mateo County News.com

As I’m sure you are aware, San Mateo County Government has failed to identify the person who ordered the PPE to be moved outside the Event Center. It’s been 25 days.

It was also reported that a Convoy of Garbage Trucks picked up PPE in the last two months.

I have 2 questions for you:

Are you the person who ordered the PPE moved outside?

Are you the person who ordered the Garbage Trucks?

Thank You in advance for answering these questions.
