Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez was Falsely Charged in 2014.
People vs. Juan Pablo Lopez case NF433910A
It only matters if you get charged.
Last week in Courtroom 2G the Hon. Judge Joseph Scott was hearing the Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez 7+ year criminal case that has never been to Jury trial yet when DDA Kimberly Perroti proudly announced that she personally contacted the prosecutor in Santa Clara County who was on a serious criminal case and the Defense Attorney was Erica Elizabeth Treeby who is Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez’s co-counsel. She announced that she has confirmed that the SCC case will be DARK (meaning not in session) on Thursday March 17, 2022 so there should be no reason Attorney Treeby could not attend Judge Scott’s court on that day.
There are so many things wrong about DDA Perrotti behavior but lets just focus on this one point. That information that the Hon. Judge Scott relied on was FALSE.
Next court date is Friday March 18, 2022, NOT Thursday
Update: March 8, 2022 Time 10:15 AM Next Court Date March 17, 2022 @ 9:30 AM.
I still call him Sheriff Deputy because he was forced to retire by ‘Those Who Matter.”
Do you remember this photo and announcement that “Those Who Matter” had their media share with the residents of San Mateo County in 2014?
You would expect your Government, Elected Officials, including Judges and appointed employees like San Mateo County Counsel and San Mateo County Manager to have in place a simple data base to assure that nobody is Falsely Charged with any crime.
“Those Who Matter” know that it will be yesterdays news by tomorrow.
Most people who are Falsely Charged with a boat load of Felonies, will sooner or later accept a plea deal from the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.
San Mateo County Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez is not like most people. He wants a Fair Jury Trial and he wants the public to be able to observe it. He has never wavered.
One of his charges which is Very Serious is this one. Notice the date of the alleged crime.
Penal Code 115(a) Felony Procuring and offering a False or Forged Instrument April 23, 2012
I recommend that San Mateo County District Attorney and Sheriff Office Investigate the 45 male Sheriff Employees that were reported to me in early 2010. Check their Mortgage and Insurance Documents for a PC115 (a) Violation, that would FAIR and a service to the residents of SMC.
Hon. Judge Joseph Scott and DDA Kimberly Perrota have been working extremely hard to make sure there is NO MENTION of Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez arrested at Gun Point to the head and Falsely Charged with Smuggling 2 Cellphones and Drugs to an Inmate in the Redwood City Jail where he worked.
A reasonable person would ask, What happened to those charges?
If you are a concerned citizen I invite you to watch the hearing this morning at 9:30 AM in Courtroom 2G. You are responsible for the behavior of the Sheriff, District Attorney, Judges, County Counsel, Supervisors.
I have said for more than 7 years now the Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez case is one of the most exciting cases in San Mateo County History. If “Those Who Matter” can do this to a SMC Sheriff Deputy who ran for Sheriff in 2014 what do you think they can do to YOU.
Wonderful photo by SMDJ of Aldon Smith, Definitely NOT a Booking Photo.Sheriff Carlos G. BolanosD.A. Stephen M. Wagstaffe
This is a “Those who Matter” case, San Mateo County Sheriff Carlos G. Bolanos provided NO BOOKING PHOTO or PRESS/NEWS RELEASE of the arrest. Why?
That is the first Tell. The 2nd Tell is Defense Attorney Josh Bentley, The 3rd Tell District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe filed this case as a Misdemeanor 21-SM instead of a 21-SF which is a FELONY.
Smith declined a field sobriety test but later took a blood test that showed a blood-alcohol content of .288 percent, District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe confirmed Thursday. Smith spent the night in jail. (source San Jose Mercury News Michael Nowels)
By declining a sobriety test at the scene, you forfeit California Drivers License for 1 year, unless you are one of the “Those Who Matter” TEAM.
If he was a BAC of .288 why is he charged with a 0.08?
San Mateo County has a First Chance DUI program for 1st time offenders. To my knowledge it does not have a 4th or 5th Chance DUI Program.
San Mateo County does have Defense Attorney Josh Bentley, Watch this case, it is going to be exciting.
TMZ was the first to report the arrest on December 6, 2021.
When I say watch this case, I mean show up to Court IN PERSON. A reasonable thinking person would know that there is a COVID-19 Pandemic in San Mateo County at this time. Listening by phone to the Court Hearings would be a lot safer you would think. Superior Court of California County of San Mateo Presiding Judge Leland Davis III thinks just the opposite. He cancelled Public Access by Telephone on November 22, 2021.
If you do attend the next Court date don’t be surprised if Aldon Smith and Josh Bentley appear remotely for safety reasons. Who would blame them. Stay Safe
