San Mateo Police to issue parking citations in Bay Meadows as two-hour limits return in 2025

San Mateo, California – Beginning in February 2025, San Mateo’s Bay Meadows area residents and visitors should get ready for a return to more stringent parking rules on numerous important roadways. Vehicles parked along Derby Avenue, Landing Avenue, Kyne Street, 28th Avenue, Paddock Way, and Baze Road will be limited to two hours Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Citations for vehicles running over this two-hour limit will start being issued by the San Mateo Police Department.

Restoring these parking limitations signifies a return to pre-pandemic rules. Originally laid back during the COVID-19 pandemic to meet the evolving demands of the the community, the restrictions have been progressively reinstated during the last few years.
