Caltrain launches Valentine’s sweepstakes featuring dinner, theater, and Peninsula rail travel
San Mateo, California – Caltrain is running a unique Valentine’s Day campaign that gives riders the chance to spend an evening full of romance, with travel, food, and live theater.
The sweepstakes, which is only open for a short period, enables individuals to join for a chance to win a complimentary experience based around a celebratory trip along the Peninsula.
The prize package includes two tickets for the Caltrain and dinner for two at the MacArthur Park restaurant in Palo Alto. The evening would continue with a pair of seats to the stage production of The Notebook at the Orpheum Theater, provided through ATG San Francisco. Together, the elements create a coordinated outing meant to highlight both transit and local cultural attractions during the Valentine’s season.
You can still sign up for the drawing online until Tuesday, February 10. Those who want to enter must be at least 18 years old, and each person can only enter once.
People who work for the San Mateo County Transit District, the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, or TASI are not allowed to take part in the promotion.
Contest entries will be recorded in the order they are submitted, after which a winner will be chosen using a random number generator. The chosen participant must be able to get an email and will have 24 hours to respond once they are notified.
Organizers note that the awarded tickets are final and cannot be exchanged.
