Bay FC teams up with Caltrain to deliver unique match-day ride to Oracle Park

Bay Area – On Saturday, August 23, Caltrain and Bay FC are working together to give fans a one-of-a-kind game day experience when the team plays the Washington Spirit at Oracle Park. As part of “The Show at Oracle Park,” the partnership will bring together sports, entertainment, and convenient transit for fans going to the stadium.
On Saturday morning, a unique Bay FC train will run, giving fans a fun ride to San Francisco. At 9:26 a.m., Train #611 will leave San Jose Diridon Station and will take fans straight to Caltrain’s San Francisco Station at 4th and King Street, which is only a short walk from the ballpark. Bay FC and Caltrain staff will be on the train giving away free stuff, selling exclusive goods, and offering chances to win prizes.
Fans may buy a package that includes a match ticket and a round-trip Caltrain fee, so they don’t have to worry about driving and parking. When they get to San Francisco, the pre-match celebrations will start at Oracle Park at 11 a.m. and include live music from Mistah Fab, DJ Ruckus, and other local artists before the game starts at 1 p.m.
Caltrain will be running its regular Saturday service, with trains leaving every 30 minutes. Riders are encouraged to use Clipper for the most convenient payment option. There are programs like Clipper START that cut tickets in half for qualifying users and youth fares that let kids 18 and under ride for as little as $1 one way. Fans can also buy tickets ahead of time at station machines or through the Caltrain Mobile App. This helps them avoid long queues on major event days.
People who drive to the station can park there every day for $5.50. You can pay for spaces with the Caltrain app or ticket machines, and the rules are enforced throughout weekends and holidays. Passengers should remember that starting at 9 p.m. on special event days, they are not allowed to bring open containers of alcohol on board.
With the game expected to draw large crowds, Caltrain is positioning itself as the simplest and most affordable way to reach Oracle Park. Fans looking for schedules, ticketing details, or trip-planning help can visit www.caltrain.com or call Caltrain’s customer service line.
