Bay Area donors can win floor seats to Shakira or Coldplay by giving blood this month

San Mateo, California – The Stanford Blood Center is enticing San Mateo donors with a chance to win tickets to two of the most awaited events this summer in the Bay Area. The initiative, aimed at bolstering blood supply while offering unique rewards, runs throughout February.
Blood donors at any of the Center’s sites will get 1,000 bonus loyalty points from February 1 through February 28. Redeeming these points entitles one to a $10 e-gift card or another Center loyalty catalogue item. Participants will also enter into a raffle to win concert tickets to watch worldwide music sensations Shakira and Coldplay by completing a unique entrance form at the time of donation.

The promotion offers two grand prizes. One lucky winner will receive four floor seats to Shakira’s concert at Oracle Park on June 30, while another winner will score four lower-level seats for Coldplay’s performance at Stanford Stadium on May 31. Donors can split their entry between the two events or quadruple their chances for their chosen concert.
Donors must show up for their planned contribution visits in order to be qualified for the drawing. The Center does, however, also have clauses allowing those who might be postponed from giving for any reason to be eligible for the drawing. Appointments for donating blood can be made online through the Stanford Blood Center’s website.
