San Mateo mayor Adam Loraine to outline city’s future during upcoming State of the City address schedule for March 30

San Mateo, California – Soon, people in San Mateo will be able to hear directly from the city’s leaders about where the city is going. Mayor Adam Loraine will give the city’s 2026 State of the City address later this month.

The event will take place on Monday, March 30, in the Oak Room at the San Mateo Main Library, which is at 55 West 3rd Avenue. The meeting is set up as the city’s yearly update for residents and community members. It will show how far San Mateo has come in the past year and talk about the city’s goals and projects for the next few months.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., so everyone will have time to have some light snacks before the presentation starts. At 7 p.m., Mayor Loraine is anticipated to speak about the city’s achievements and how current projects are meant to make San Mateo’s future stronger.

The theme of this year’s presentation is “Investing Now in a Sustainable Future.” This is in line with the city’s ongoing efforts to plan carefully for long-term growth and stability. Loraine will talk about the important things that happened in the past year and give an overview of the initiatives the city wants to move on with in 2026 during the speech. The discussion will also talk about how people may stay involved and help shape the future of the community.

City officials claim that the annual event is a chance for locals and local government to talk to each other more. Leaders want to help people understand how San Mateo is changing and meeting the needs of the community by giving them a clear picture of the city’s activities and future projects.
