Bay Area readies for a fun-filled National Night Out with music, games, and community engagement
San Mateo, California – Neighborhoods throughout the Bay Area are getting ready for the annual National Night Out, a countrywide project started in 1984 meant to enhance local ties and promote police-community relationships. This Tuesday, Bay Area residents should expect an evening full of music, games, gastronomy, and chances to meet and engage with local law enforcement personnel.
Every city—from Palo Alto to Santa Cruz—has a different set of events scheduled. Festivities in Palo Alto are scheduled for Eleanor Pardee Park and Bol Park, therefore creating an interesting environment for friends and family.
